Picture the scene: it's the mid 1980's. A bunch of out-of-work music fans were sitting in their favourite snack bar when some bright spark suggested that for that day's entertainment they should form a band! After a few names and the inevitable line up changes, Fenrir (the name comes from Norse mythology) was born!

Within a few months they were practicing in a garden shed (the garages were all taken!) attempting their own material, and classic heavy rock songs. But to no avail. Internal wrangling lead to the parting of the four original members, and the band lay dormant…

Fast forward to 2001 when Ivan and Nick (by now both working for the same company) met up by accident. Within a short span of time, they decided to try this music-type thingy again. A year later and the local gig scene was being scouted; another passed with our heroes attending local jam sessions where Pete, Carl, and Radar were found, then recruited. Fenrir was re-born!

So, seekers of knowledge, what we have here is a five-piece heavy rock band with the classic line-up of two harmonising guitars; bass; drums; and power vocals. The songs strongly centre on Classic and Hard Rock covers (from Free to Megadeth), with a sprinkling of original toons.

First live gig was a New Band Night at the Vibe Room in September 2003; several other venues have hosted the boys since. So keep your eyes peeled, for soon will be heard the pounding of feet (and paws?) at a gig near you. Run with the wolf!
