Band Profile - Gridlock

GRiDLoCK are a hard rock band based in Norwich, England, representing originality within an industry of clichéd pop-punk/Nu-metal!

We try to achieve a different sound as to what is around as much as possible, escaping all that manufactured pop rock rubbish! With the guitarist (Gareth Moore - 20) being influenced by Tom Morello (RATM), the second guitarist (Mike - 21) being influenced by the likes of Metallica, the bassist (Paul Taylor - 19) being influenced by Flea (RHCP), the drummer (Lee Foyster - 30) cites cradle of filth as his main inspiration, and lastly our singer (Chris Gedge - 20) takes his inspiration from the likes of Incubus, 36 crazy fists and Lost Prophets!

We don't want to write to churn out the same sort of songs all the time so we go for as wide a variety of styles as possible but that's just to show off our abilities.
